Four bedrooms and generous living spaces make it easy to bring family or friends. Cook in the well-equipped kitchen, gather around the outdoor table for twelve, or find a quiet corner with a book.
Visit the vineyard next door
Stay close to the wines’ origins. The Ojai Mountain vineyard is a short drive from the house, where a private, sommelier-led tasting includes estate wines, a walk among the vines, and cheese and charcuterie.
Tastings are booked separately, in advance.
Head out—or enjoy being here
Walk the private half-mile loop around the house, explore Sulphur Mountain Road, or spend an afternoon in Ojai. Back at The Ridge, there’s the hot tub, a hammock and dinner on the patio.
Bring the whole family
A shared breakfast, a game at the table, a walk together before dinner. A crib, high chair, baby bath, children’s dishware and toys make packing a little easier. Before booking, please read the family guide: the stairs have no safety gates, and the hot tub has no gate or lock.

Up to two dogs or cats with prior approval; a pet fee applies. Please keep pets leashed outdoors.
Private gated access
Two private gates mark the approach. The estate is gated, but not fully fenced.
Arrival by air
A private helipad is available with advance coordination.

An intimate wedding, an anniversary, a proposal or a dinner with your closest people. If you are planning a celebration, tell us before booking: events and special arrangements are approved separately from the accommodation.
PLAN YOUR STAY
A mountain stay, thoughtfully planned
The Ridge is approximately 35 minutes from downtown Ojai, 45 minutes from Santa Barbara and 90 minutes from Los Angeles, depending on traffic and conditions.
The final approach is a narrow, winding mountain road. Plan your first arrival in daylight, pick up groceries before coming up, and download your directions while you have reliable reception.

Before you book
How many guests can stay?
Up to ten guests. The four bedrooms have two king beds, one queen and two twins. A queen sofa bed in the living room provides the additional sleeping space; it is not a fifth bedroom.
What are the arrival and departure times?
Check-in is from 4:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
Can we bring pets?
Up to two dogs or cats are welcome by prior arrangement, and a pet fee applies. The estate is gated but not fully fenced, so please keep pets leashed outdoors.
Is the house suitable for children?
Children are welcome, and the house provides a crib, high chair, baby bath, children’s dishware and toys. Please consider the setting for your family: the stairs have no safety gates, and the hot tub has no gate or lock. Read our family guide.
Are bikes provided?
No. Nearby Sulphur Mountain Road is popular for hiking and biking, but bikes are not supplied at the house. See our hiking and walking guide.
Is wine tasting included?
No. Private vineyard tastings are optional and booked separately, in advance.
Can we host a celebration?
All events require advance approval and separate arrangements. Please contact us before booking accommodation for an event.
